On Friday June 12, the University of Chicago Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics will sponsor a full day of talks by Don York's scientific colleagues. Morning talks will highlight Don's main scientific interests and how his work impacts current research in astronomy. Afternoon talks will focus on origins and impact of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) with Don as Founding Director, followed by insights about the global collaborative legacy of SDSS.
