Background
Maria Steinrueck studies the atmospheres of exoplanets. She uses three-dimensional climate models to simulate the atmospheres of extrasolar giant planets, from hot Jupiters to sub-Neptunes. Currently, a large focus of her work is on how photochemical hazes can shape the climate and spectra of these planets.
