Matthew Becker (ANL) "Weak Lensing Shear Measurements in DES Y3 and Beyond!"

Weak gravitational lensing is an essential tool for current and next-generation cosmological surveys. Historically, it has proven extremely difficult to make these measurements accurately, even in simplified simulations, let alone actual survey data. In this talk, I will discuss recent advances in weak lensing shear measurement methodology and our understanding of how to interpret weak lensing data. I will then look forward, describing some of the ongoing work for the DES Y6 analysis and the upcoming Vera Rubin Observatory Legacy Survey of Space and Time.
