The energy spectrum of cosmic rays, constructed from decades of measurements, exhibits a remarkable power law in energy with a mysterious break at a few peta-electronvolts (PeV, 10^15 eV), which is usually referred to as the knee. Sources capable of accelerating particles to the knee are called PeVatrons. The search for PeVatrons has been significantly advanced lately, thanks to the launches and operation of very-high-energy gamma-ray and high-energy neutrino observatories. This talk will present the latest observations of a few candidate PeVatrons in the gamma-ray and neutrino sky. We explore the connection between gamma-ray, radio, X-ray, and high-energy neutrino emission and explain how the recent observations improve the understanding of the Galactic and extragalactic cosmic-ray factories.
