Weak Gravitational Lensing of Low-Surface-Brightness Galaxies in DES Y3 Catalog

We present galaxy-galaxy lensing measurements on a sample of low-surface-brightness galaxies (LSBGs) drawn from the Dark Energy Survey Year 3 (Y3) data. LSBGs are diffuse galaxies with a surface brightness at least one magnitude lower than the ambient night sky. Investigating these dark-matter dominated galaxies allows us to examine extreme examples of galaxy evolution, but their faintness makes using stellar tracers for mass estimates challenging.
