The exhibit space in Regenstein Library is showing "The Untold History of Women at Yerkes Observatory" (www.lib.uchicago.edu/collex/exhibits) through December 15. The exhibit came together with a multi-disciplinary group, including Astronomy & Astrophysics, historians, librarians, archivists, and digital studies specialists. Students have been closely involved, and some have contributed directly to the contents of the exhibit. I will talk about how and why the exhibit was developed, and give background for some of the artifacts. I will describe what the exhibit team learned and some of the things that surprised us.
