High-Redshift KICP Workshop 2025

Through March 11, 2025

This event brings together experts in high-redshift galaxy formation from both the theoretical and observational communities for an intensive two-day workshop discussing eight of the most intriguing topics related to the first few years of JWST data. This workshop is discussion-heavy, encouraging attendees to highlight successes and failures of our current understanding of early galaxy formation and particularly focuses on the question of “what’s next” to better our understanding of the high-redshift Universe. Discussion topics include: the mass-metallicity relation and early chemical abundance patterns, massive star formation, the UV luminosity function, early black hole formation, modes of star formation, reionization and Lya emission.
