The IAU PhD Prize recognises the outstanding scientific achievements of astronomy PhD students around the world. Zhijie Qu won a 2021 IAU PhD Prize for his PhD Thesis “The Warm-Hot Circumgalactic Medium and its Co-Evolution with the Galaxy Disk”.
