Congratulations to graduate student Samantha Usman! She is the recipient of an AAUW American Dissertation Fellowship.
AAUW has been empowering women and girls by providing tools and resources since their founding in 1881. The American Fellowship program began in 1888, a time when women were discouraged from pursuing an education. It is AAUW’s largest fellowship program and the oldest non-institutional source of graduate funding for women in the United States thanks to the generosity and legacy of generations of AAUW members.
